While digging through some old directories, I came across this artwork for an OUOC social back in 1999:

Not me I’m afraid, but I did something similar on a previous occasion, along a very similar route, but ending up in Park End.
As I recall, the descriptions ended with “navigate to bed”, which most people managed. Many of them to their own beds.
